Training In The Rain

Have you ever think that you will working out in the rain? Or jogging while it is raining heavily? I bet not many of us willing to do it. Including me ;p But, it is possible. It will happened in special circumstance. When you do not have any choice and considering some factors that force you, you can do it dude. Actually it is fun to work out in the rain while others might think you are insane. You know why? It is because not everybody have the chance to experience it. Eheehehe...

Fret not, you won't falling sick with only a time being in the rain. You are not a kids anymore, aren't you? So, if you want to challenge yourself, lets join Original Bootcam Malaysia. What the hell is it? Original Bootcamp is an outdoor-based group fitness training system. It offers a creative infusion/blend of heart-thumping HIIT (High - Intensity Interval Training), Kettlebell-inspired concepts and bodyweight drill progressions that are structured on the scientific principles of strength and conditioning. You can join it by monthly. What I mean is you pay the fee monthly and there is no penalty if you do not want to join it the following month. Let say you join it this month, you have the option either to join it or not for the next month. It is up to you.

I joined it for a month which is for October. I chose KLCC PM platoon every Tuesday and Thursday, 6.45 till 7.30 pm. Overall, I had a blast! Got a chance to do a things that I never imagine i can do it or may be pretending that I can't do it or I just too lazy to do it since no body force me, are very precious experience to me. Burpee, plank, mountain climber, push up and many more. Even though my whole body aching, bootcamp made me a more functional person. Sadly I can't continue it for November due to time constraint but, I do hope can join it again in the future with Mr. Comot perhaps? Many of us will think that bootcamp is all about yelling, shouting, scolding and etc. Nope, you are totally wrong. You should try it by yourself. If you want to be fit, want to be in the most talked about fitness program in Malaysia, go to here.

Hey, I do not get any commission for promoting them, only sharing a good thing with others. Sharing is caring. Hooyah!

Salam Eidul Fitr 2011

Minggu ni dah masuk minggu ke-3 bulan Syawal. Mood kerja pon dah mari lepas cuti panjang. Rasenye masih sempat lagi nak wish raya dalam blog ku ini. Orang lain sibuk buat post pasal raya so saye pon tak nak ketinggalan. Ahahhaa...Nampak la konon-konon saye aktif berblog kan. Padahal nan ado la. Pemalas gilak nak update.

Last ramadhan as last year banyak la invitation buka puasa dari vendor & contractor. Especially on the 2nd & 3rd week of ramadhan. Boleh dikatakan setiap hari ada invitation. Sampai weekend pon ada yang ajak. Tapi, saye tak pergi banyak pon. Foods kat hotel ni lebih kurang je menu dia. Paling obvious kebanyakan hotel akan promote menu-menu kampung. Tu yang saye perasan la. Cuba korang perhati betul-betul. So, menu ala kampung ni kalau kat hotel tu bukanlah sedap sangat. For me sedap lagi kalau mak saya yang masak. Lagi-lagi kalau ikan keli masak sambal. Sampai menjilat jari okeh. Seriously.

Ok enough cerita pasal puasa. Cerita raya? Takde yang menarik sangat. Biasa je lah. Same like previous year. May be next year saye akan beraya bersungguh-sungguh. Apa kes nak tunggu next year? Hurm, tunggu next year kita cerita ya.

Selamat bekerja semua..... :)

How To Dance In The Rain

It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his
80s arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb.

He said he was in a hurry, as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be
over an hour before someone would be able to see him.
The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to
eat breakfast with his wife.

I inquired as to her health; he told me that she had been there for a
while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.

He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not
recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, 'And you still go every morning, even
though she doesn't know who you are'?

He smiled as he patted my hand and said, '"She doesn't know me, but I
still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left. I had goose bumps on my arms and
thought, 'That is the kind of love I want in my life'.

True love is neither physical nor romantic. True love is an
acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there is one
that comes along that has an important message.

This one I thought I could share with you.

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the best of everything they have.

I hope you share this with someone you care about. I just did.

but how to dance in the rain'

Forgive and Forget

My friend once told me that I am wise person. A wise person needs to act wisely. Means that you should be able to handle any situation that may happen to you even the world give you a shit. To be honest, it is not easy to let go of your anger and bitterness. It is not like you order a Happy Meals at Mc Donald's drive thru nor a salty popcorn at GSC . It takes a courage and an effort to do it.

Karen Salmansohn say letting go of anger and bitterness can work wonders for both your attitude and your health, not to mention your relationships.

Here are 8 strategies from her to free you from your resentments starting today!

1. Say a Prayer
Whenever angry feelings about a person who's harmed you enter your mind, tell yourself: "We are all good, loving souls who occasionally get lost." Pray for this person to find their way back to a happier place.

2. Focus on Gratitude
Resist seeking happiness from the outside in. Instead, focus on gratitude exercises to bring happiness from the inside out. If you allow your self-image to be at the mercy of unpredictable events and unreliable people, your happiness will be forever on a chaotic roller coaster ride! Happiness must always be an inside joy! When you are tempted to focus on all the ways the world has done you wrong, instead count your blessings by making a list of the five aspects of your life that you appreciate. It is good practice to purposefully end your day this way to keep focused.

3. Look for the Lesson
Many Buddhists of us consider huge difficulties to be a sign you're an old soul—the bigger your misfortunes, the closer you are to enlightenment. Whether you believe this or not, it's certainly cheery to reframe all your life's bad events as tests of your character. If you feel particularly tested right now, ask yourself what the heck you're being tested for! Patience? Compassion? Resilience? Forgiveness? Open-mindedness? What strengths must you develop further? Now consciously go out there and develop them!

4. Maintain Perspective
If you're going through a challenging time, remind yourself that this specific event is merely a part of your life—not your "whole" life. Consciously keep this "slice of life" perspective, and don't let the event overwhelm you. As the song goes, "The best is yet to come!"

5. Learn the Lesson
Develop a "student not victim" mentality. Vow not only to disentangle yourself from emotionally harmful situations, but also to consciously avoid similar situations in the future.

6. Let Go of Resentment
Keep in mind a fabulous Carrie Fisher quote: "Resentment is the poison you swallow hoping the other person will die." Recognize that when you resent someone, you are not only hurting yourself, you're also giving this person control of your emotions—and you don't want to give this person bubkes!

7. Stay Centered
Recognize that when you respond with hate to hate, anger to anger, bitterness to bitterness, you are ironically becoming part of the problem. Choose to resist becoming like them and instead put in the conscious effort to remain a loving, soulful, happy person.

8. Get Revenge Positively
Contemplating revenge? The best kind of revenge is living a successful, happy life. If you train yourself to consistently be more loving in thoughts and actions, your energy will attract more positive people and positive results. As Albert Einstein said, "You can't solve a problem by staying in the same energy in which it was created." To stay focused on highly positive thoughts, repeat this meditation ritual throughout the day: "Love, forgiveness, letting go, peace."
